Panaroma Jeep Safari
OVERVIEW
This long Jeep Safari takes you along the KKH across the Northern Areas and to the exotic Chitral Valley touching all three mountain ranges. One can come by various panoramic views: from lofty mountains to gushing rivers, from lush green fields to dense Jungles the and from beautiful lakes to the highest metalled border between China and Pakistan, Khunjarab pass. The sites in between are worth the visit–glaciers, forts, markets, and the highest polo ground in Shandur while traveling to Chitral via Gilgit. One can imagine the lifestyle of people and the hospitality living in various parts of the Northern Areas and Chitral. Visiting the Kalash tribe in Chitral is a vital part of the journey. Looking into historic sites and clusters of wooden-made homes gives an unexpected panorama for the first-timers. Their burial sites and their culture are diametrically different from the rest of the area. Their rituals, some of them they usually offer twice a week while dancing surrounded by villagers, are a good pass time.
